Explanation: For the ratio, since the ratio is 1:1 then A would be the first part of the ratio 1 and B would be the second part of the ratio which is 1 Since you are doing Partitioning a Line Segment, You would Have to use the Equation a/a+b (X2-X1)+X1 to the find the X and for the Y you would need to use the equation a/a+b (Y2-Y1)+Y1.
