First subtract 325-7= 318  Then you divide 318/6=53

So each bus holds 53 people

buses+7=325
minus 7 both sides
buses=318
6 buses

318 fits into 6 buses equally (all are full and we assume that each bus holds the same amout of people)
318/6=53
