If 200% of x is equal to 50% of y and x = 16, what is the value of y?

First, find what 200% of x is. 
Multiply x by 2. 
16 x 2 = 32 
Since it is equal to 1/2 of y, 
multiply it by 2 once more. 
32 x 2 = 64 
y = 64.
